Membership Requirements

Working Membership Requirements:

• You must pass NACHI's Online Inspector Examination (free).
• You must complete NACHI's Ethics Obstacle Course (free).
• You must take NACHI's Standards of Practice Quiz (free).
• You must mail or fax in NACHI's Affidavit.
• You must adhere to the Standards of Practice.
• You must abide by the Code of Ethics.
• You must continue learning per the Continuing Education Policy.
• You must be actively working towards attaining a "Full" Membership.
• Inspectors new-to-the-business are welcome!

Full Membership Requirements:

• You must perform or participate in more than 100 home inspections.
• You must pass  NACHI's Online Inspector Examination (free).
• You must complete NACHI's Ethics Obstacle Course (free).
• You must take NACHI's Standards of Practice Quiz (free).
• You must mail or fax in NACHI's Affidavit.
• You must adhere to the Standards of Practice.
• You must abide by the Code of Ethics.
• You must continue learning as per the Continuing Education Policy.
• You must pass NACHI's Online Inspector Examination (free) once a year.
• If required by your state, you must have the proper E&O insurance.
